FAA medicals all classes I, II, III

 

Aviation medical examinations are part of  Dr. Rainer Mutschlers medicine services in his biological - naturopathy Centre for Integrative Medicine. He issues all established and required aviation medical certifications (FAA class 1-3) for student and trained commercial and private pilots.

You can reach us from Monday till Thursday in the morning 8:30 - 12:00 and in the afternoon 15:00-18:00

 

On Friday: 8:30-12:00

What you need for your FAA-Medical appointment:

  • Identity documents with 2 official pictures: 1 x ID card (or passport) and 1 x driving license.
  • Previous medical certificate and pilot license in the case of license renewal

Please note: the examination can’t be done, if you don’t bring documents listed above.

Way to make an appointment

  • first make a preliminary date of the examination in Biomedical Center Speyer (you will be asked for your  name, phone number and E-Mail address).
  • You become from us an E-Mail with your preliminary appointment
  • In the next step please enter your data on the FAA-website in order to get a confirmation number.
  • Send us an E-Mail with the appointment confirmation and the FAA confirmation number within 48 hours from the day you made a preliminary appointment in BMC Speyer.
  • Cancellations without charge are possible until 48 hours before the appointment.

Your data that you entered in the online FAA form will be automatically forwarded to the FAA. This data is also visible only for your flight examiner. For the examination is also loose, comfortable clothing appropriate (especially for candidates who need a stress test).

First Class Medical Certificate: A first class medical certificate is valid for the remainder of the month of issue; plus

  • 6 calendar months for operations requiring a first class medical certificate if the airman is age 40 or over on or before the date of the examination, or
  • 12-calendar months for operations requiring a first-class medical certificate if the airman has not reached age 40 on or before the date of examination, or
  • 12 calendar months for operations requiring a second class medical certificate, or
  • 24 calendar months for operations requiring a third class medical certificate if the airman is age 40 or over on or before the date of the examination, or
  • 60 calendar months for operations requiring a third class medical certificate if the airman has not reached age 40 on or before the date of examination. *


 

Second Class Medical Certificate: A second class medical certificate is valid for the remainder of the month of issue; plus

  • 12 calendar months for operations requiring a second class medical certificate, or
  • 24 calendar months for operations requiring a third class medical certificate, if the airman is age 40 or over on or before the date of the examination, or
  • 60 calendar months for operations requiring a third class medical certificate if the airman has not reached age 40 on or before the date of examination. *


 

Third Class Medical Certificate: A third-class medical certificate is valid for the remainder of the month of issue; plus

  • 24 calendar months for operations requiring a third class medical certificate, if the airman is age 40 or over on or before the date of the examination, or
  • 60 calendar months for operations requiring a third class medical certificate if the airman has not reached age 40 on or before the date of examination. *
